Studio. Six editors for people who film it themselves.

Pinned is a video editing studio in Los Angeles. We cut YouTube videos, shorts and podcast clips for creators who film their own work: woodworkers, cooks, hosts, people who walk cities with a phone on a stick.
Remy Castillo started it after six years of cutting trailers. That taught him the first second decides everything, and that the best moment is usually something nobody planned. Every editor here works that way.
Most of our clients found us the same way. They saw a post, asked who edited it, and someone tagged us. We’d like to keep it that way.

Six editors, one inbox. Every case is posted by the editor who cut it.
Book Pinned and one named editor stays on your channel. Every delivery also passes Marcus for colour and Nora for sound.

Remy Castillo
Founder, lead editor
Six years of trailers before Pinned. Cuts the long builds and still watches every hook before it goes out.

Dana Whitlock
Shorts editor
Vertical cuts and captions. Finds the three seconds a post opens on, then cuts everything towards them.

Keiko Tan
Podcast editor
Reads the transcript before opening a file. Cleans the room, then finds the clip people send to a friend.

Luis Ortega
Long-form editor
Structure and pacing for 12 to 40 minute videos. Writes the outline before he builds the timeline.

Marcus Bell
Colour and finishing
Grades every delivery so a phone shot sits next to a camera shot. The last pass on everything we send.

Nora Fenn
Sound
Dialogue, room tone and the beat of silence before a reveal. Mixes for phone speakers first.
How we work. Four rules every editor keeps.
We read before we watch.
Transcripts, notes, your last three posts. We want to know what you sound like before we see what you shot.
The first frame comes first.
We pick the frame that opens the post before making a single cut, then build the edit backwards from it.
True mistakes stay in.
One slip, one laugh, one wrong turn. People stay for proof that a person made it.
Your files are yours.
Final exports in every shape you need, and the project files whenever you ask.
Who we cut for. A few of the channels in our week.
